Bad wifi reception on the ASUS 1005HA using ubuntu karmic
The 1005HA is a nice piece of hardware but I got quite bad wifi reception on it. Turns out that if you install the wireless backports package you can increase the reception a great deal.
To give it a try install: linux-backports-modules-wireless-karmic-generic

My reception is really better now ;)
Thanks for this! I also occasionally experience problems waking from suspend. Wireless is *VERY* slow until I restart. Does that happen to you?
